His love for technology and its impact on modern life led him to explore cybersecurity in his writing, aiming to blend thrilling plots with insightful commentary on digital culture.

Education and Career
Michael developed an early interest in storytelling, inspired by the vibrant tales of local folklore and the diverse narratives of Southern life. He pursued this passion through reading books by some of his favorite authors, Stephen King, Anne Rice, Lee Child, Tom Clancy, Dean Koontz and James Patterson.
After college, Michael, also an Army veteran, worked in various fields, including sales and IT, but he always harbored the ambition to get into the cyber security field. His experiences in these industries enriched his storytelling skills, particularly in creating compelling narratives and relatable characters.

Hobbies and Interests
Outside of writing, Michael is an avid board gamer, he enjoys activities like bicycling, 3D printing, spending time with his family, and martial arts. His connection to southern roots often finds its way into his writing, adding depth to his descriptions of settings and scenes.
He also has a keen interest in technology and cybersecurity, staying updated on the latest developments, which he skillfully incorporates into his novels.
Current Life
Currently, Michael resides in a quiet town in Southern Illinois. The serene environment provides the perfect backdrop for his writing. He enjoys the blend of cultural richness, historical significance, and the slower pace of life in a small town, which continues to inspire his work.
